The Crux DSW is more than just the lightest aluminum gravel bike ever made. We’ve taken everything we learned creating the carbon Crux and used our patented D’Aluisio Smartweld system to bring it to life in aluminum. We’ve created the most capable, agile, balanced and responsive aluminum gravel bike ever made for fast, fun, high-performance riding. And yes, it’s also the lightest. Some might call it a carbon copy, but we call it the Crux DSW.

• At just 1399 grams*, the Crux DSW is the world’s lightest aluminum gravel frame. Combine that with our Fact12r Crux carbon fork and a construction designed for performance, and a complete Crux DSW weighs 9.37kg-no aluminum gravel bike can compete.

• More capacity
• More clearance means more capacity – that’s why the Crux DSW has the same clearance as its carbon sibling – 47mm and up to 2.1″ on a 650b wheel. Combine that with the strong, lightweight aluminum frame, and the Crux DSW can take you anywhere you can imagine at full throttle.
• Ultra-Reactive
• Reactive in the pedals. Flexible in the saddle. We used D’Aluisio Smartweld to fine-tune the properties of aluminum to deliver a ride that was previously impossible without carbon, and combined it with the same high-performance gravel geometry and race-influenced fit as the carbon Crux. A longer reach provides better weight distribution for a fast and confident ride, while a lower stack creates a performance position. With 72mm of bottom bracket drop, we’ve hit the sweet spot between agility and stability.
• D’Aluisio Smartweld
• D’Aluisio Smartweld – or DSW – is a patented engineering process that uses hydroforming to precisely fit tube-to-tube joints for better, stronger welds and, ultimately, a lighter frame that can be twice as durable as a traditional aluminum frame. Our Smartweld technique helps us create a one-piece downtube and bottom bracket for the Crux, which reduces weight and increases responsiveness.
