    Well, the Stumpjumper EVO S-Works.
    With all the traction and handling advantages of a 29er, but with a smaller, more maneuverable rear wheel, this setup suits a more dynamic and playful style.
    It feels right at home at the bike park, and it’s a total blast to let loose along the way.
  • The entire travel of the world is useless without proper damper and kinematics adjustment.
    For the new design of the Stumpjumper EVO, we have prioritised kinematic performance.
    By applying the lessons learned during the development of the Enduro, followed by more than 1,000 hours of development in the field and in the suspension lab, we have not only improved the pedaling performance of the Stumpjumper, but made it more capable, agile and lively.
    We’ve increased the anti-squat, so the suspension can better withstand pedal roll, and we’ve further improved bump performance on square-edged hits.
    In short?
    This thing destroys trails, not legs.
  • The S-Sizing geometry of the new Stumpjumper EVO is the most progressive to date.
    Long, low, loose, short-travel fork, steeper seat tube angle – these are the requirements of modern progressive riding.
    But not everyone leans the same way, so the geometry of the new Stumpjumper EVO is fully adjustable with six different positions.
    You can adjust the bottom bracket height by 10mm, you can adjust the head angle by two degrees, and you can make these adjustments independently of each other.
    Finally, if you want to go full throttle, the EVO allows you to mount a 27.5-inch rear wheel combined with a 29-inch front wheel.
  • Rider-First Engineered™ frames use a size-specific approach to riding characteristics that ensures benchmark handling and flawless performance, regardless of frame or rider size.
    Whether you’re a beginner with a desire to jump and ride an S1, or you’re a DH giant and need the long S6, you’ll experience the same riding characteristics, precise cornering and balanced front and rear stiffness, with the lightest possible weight.
  • We introduced the SWAT™ gate on the Stumpjumper in 2016, adding space in the frame for those “oh sh**t” necessities like pumps and spare tubes, and immediately making the jersey pockets redundant.
    With the new Stumpjumper, we’ve increased the volume and added a SWAT™ Bladder, which gives you an extra 22 ounces of water storage—the same size as a small water bottle—hidden in the down tube.
