THE REFERENCE ON THE TRAIL – When we set out to design the new Stumpjumper, we pursued some important goals.
I had to excel on any kind of road, for every style of rider.
To achieve this, we looked for a huge weight reduction without sacrificing durability, a stiff and responsive chassis that would remain light and lively, a geometry that would improve everyone’s ride and the best suspension kinematics we know how to design.
Turns out, you can have your cake and eat it too with the new Stumpjumper.
THE SWEETEST 130MM OF TRAVEL YOU’LL EVER RIDE – We’ve massaged the Stumpjumper’s suspension kinematics for the best possible overall performance in a 130mm package.
Countless hours of suspension development in the lab and field testing have created a refined mid-travel ripper that eats up big terrain like a gravity-fed beast, handles like a dream anywhere and climbs like an engine.
PROGRESSIVE GEOMETRY – The S-Sizing geometry of the new Stumpjumper hits the nail on the head of progressiveness.
It’s long, low and loose, with a short fork and a steeper seat tube angle.
These numbers combine to make your ride more stable, more carvealicious, more comfortable to climb, better everywhere.
With the ability to adjust the FlipChip, you’ll be able to fine-tune your fit even further, ensuring that your new Stumpjumper will behave perfectly on any terrain you choose.
RIDER-FIRST ENGINEERED™ – Rider-First Engineered™ frames use a size-specific approach to riding characteristics that ensures benchmark handling and flawless performance, regardless of frame size or rider.
Whether you’re a jump-hungry beginner riding an S1, or a DH giant needing the long S6, you’ll experience the same riding characteristics – very precise cornering and balanced front and rear stiffness – with the lightest possible weight, and by light we mean really light: 2,250 grams (S-Works, size S-3, with rear shock absorber).
